PG&E Pre-Owned EV Rebate
Pre-owned (secondhand) automobiles only.
- Vehicle must be a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) or Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) listed on the HOV Eligibility list at the time of purchase *. See a list of eligible plug-in vehicles here.
- Vehicle can be bought or leased.
- Vehicle must stay authorized to the applicant in California for a minimum of 20 months.
- Vehicle needs to be currently registered to the candidate's PG&E property service address.
- If authorized, the rebate check will be sent by mail to the address listed on the automobile's registration card.
* Hydrogen Fuel Cell automobiles and Compressed Natural Gas automobiles are not qualified.
If you are not able to find your qualified lorry design or model year on the application, you might offer your VIN by means of email to ev@pgerebate.com for help.
Applicant Eligibility
- Application needs to be successfully submitted within 180 days of the date of EV purchase or lease.
- Applicant should be an active PG&E domestic electric client. PG&E gas-only residential clients who get electric service from a town are disqualified for the refund. The service account does not have to remain in the candidate's name to use.
- Each PG&E consumer and each residential family might receive just one PG&E Pre-Owned EV Rebate per eligible lorry
- Each individual candidate may get a refund for a maximum of 3 various qualified vehicles for the life of the program.
- A family, specified as the very same property service address, might not submit more than three rebate applications for cars bought or leased in a single calendar year.
